A terrible storm had started mid-afternoon. Luna had honestly tried her best to work, but after finally giving up on doing work outside, she went to paperwork and it really was too tough to focus on boring paperwork when every few seconds booming sounds would echo throughout the Weyr. With a sigh, she'd curled up in her favorite chair with a much beloved book of hers. Her dad had brought it to one of her Hatchings to show how proud he was of her, even if she hadn't Impressed. It was a meager collection of short adventures, and ballads, but she treasured a tangible gift of love from her father.
Rukbat had already dipped low upon the horizon and with the storm it was near pitch black outside. The entrance to her Weyr was drenched as rain poured in. Anyone with any sense was going to stay inside tonight.
Luna frowned and glanced up, it seemed as if Raineth was calling her. The dragon felt asleep, but if humans could sleep talk, what was preventing dragons? Feeling restless she carefully put her book down and walked over to look over the bowl. She was a bit back from the entrance as she didn't want to get soaked, but being the WW, she had a good view of everything still.
It was then she felt/heard the unmistakable feeling of someone coming from Between. She pitied anyone who had to travel in such conditions. She had almost gathered the courage to put herself in the icy rain to hail the newcomer to a safe Weyr when the dragon turned her way. As the pair came forward she realized something. She knew that rider ....

It would be many more candlemarks before the WW emerged from the safety of her Weyr. Her nighttime visitor had already left without anyone seeing their arrival or departure.
Luna gazed upon the Weyr Bowl, it was strewn with a little debris from the trees near the lake. She'd have to ask someone to clean it up. After a few moments she shook her head and got dressed. There was a day of work to do and she wasn't going to waste it. First she'd make her way to the Lower Caverns and eat some breakfast. Who knows, perhaps some people wanted to talk to her now?
(( Ayla feel free to pop in, but you still won't see the visitor. This is open, but I'm mainly trying to angle two particular people in. ^,^ ))
