Dawning of a New Era

Time, it moves too quickly when you are having fun, moves slower when you are at work and you never seem to quite have enough of it to get things done. The dragonriders at Telgar Weyr have their own issue with time. The disease that has now been titled an epidemic by the Healer Hall has left them with few people of candidate age on Pern. With their “super” Queen Adeloth laying larger clutches they fully expect the need for many more. Holders are unwilling to give up their young to the Weyr and why should they? There has not been thread for nearly four hundred turns. After some of their children went missing the Holders distrust for dragonriders grew. Not only that, they mistrust each other. Telgar Weyr has attempted something that may seem reckless to some but they cannot risk losing dragonets Between. With young Gold Sheluth recently mated and the number of Candidates so few, the Weyrleaders of Telgar hope their plan will work. The Igen Weyrleaders mistrust Telgar and their “super” Gold. Why should they have so many eggs while Igen’s Queen’s have far fewer. With the loss of their Senior Gold, the Junior has taken over Igen and hopes to encourage more interweyr relations. The Weyrleaders of Pern are meeting at Igen and will discuss the pressing need for Candidates, the possibility of threads return and how to deal with a world on the brink of civil war.


~ We are an older roleplay that took a hiatus for a while and now we are back and ready to roll. We would love new people to come and play with us
~ Two Weyrs with a total of four Queens which means not too long between clutches and lots of fun!
~ Healer Hall is semi active with a lot of our plot having to do with this illness we would love to have the Healers get more action.
~ Holders are PNPCs that can be played as little or as much as you want. We would like to hear from them now and again though.
~ There are previous board wide plots that are going to continue and some new ones about to be added. Do not be shy if you want to be involved in something just say the word and I’ll get you the info you need.
