This woman is tall, with meat and muscle on her bones. She has curves to be sure, and in all the right places, along with a waist and while she might be considered slender by some, she'll never be called petite or skinny. And she likes it that way. Arms and legs are toned and well muscled, more so than nearly any other woman except, perhaps, a dragonrider.
Her skin is very tanned, with a hint of freckles covering her nose. There is the occasional silvery scar marring her limbs, and she is no stranger to pain. Kierana has injured herself many times, though she sometimes earns cuts from rocks or deep splinters from floors, injuries are usually only sprains. Her hair is long, falling to her waist in gentle waves, and sometimes bound back in a loose braid. It is a bright and vibrant copper in color, though the bottom few inches are dyed black. Eyes are a snapping and vivid green, adding allure to this intimidating beauty's assets.
Her Gather outfit is composed of a low hanging, flowing skirt of black. Torso is clad in black as well, this time tight fitting and sleeveless, revealing her midriff in a manner most women would never dare. For this she is often scorned and talked about, but men love the show, and often offer marks afterwards for the performance. About ankles and wrists are bangles of jade, copper, and gold, while another couple of circlets form necklaces. It creates a definite jingle as she moves and flips about the Gather floor, a pleasing sound more often than not, with calloused feet left bare.
The rest of the time she can be seen in more modest and proper attire for a lady, a full skirt of deep brown with a blouse of usually either white or green. Boots of a light tan usually cover feet and keep them warm.
Personality:
Kierana has once before been described as bi-polar. However, instead of having manic and depressive phases, she has fierce and teasing. Whatever anyone wants to call it, she certainly has two main facets to her personality that are certainly distinctive.
On the one side she is a carefree woman, she likes to have fun and have a good time. She will tease and she will tempt either gender, though usually her attention is more lavished upon the male population. However, that doesn't mean she ever takes it very far, this one is no floozy. She also has a rather mothering or protective attitude over those she views as needing it--usually girls and boys that are little or have a very innocent and timid air about them.
Kierana is a very blunt and open woman, sometimes called loud but never, ever, shy. She will tell you what she thinks, no matter what. She can be subtle, but only when the situation demands it, and not very often. She rather likes seeing what sort of reaction she can get from various personalities, and sometimes likes to try and push people's buttons just to see what they will do.
This performer, on the other side of things, can have a very no-nonsense attitude. It doesn't do to flare her temper, for she'll tell you off without a second thought. She can be temperamental, but her temper doesn't usually blow up immediately. She'll probably slap the person angering her and then storm off before she does something she'll actually regret. Kierana also won't tolerate disobeying the rules. She might bend them, and there are a few meant to break, but on the whole, she knows they are there for a reason, and she will tell off anyone breaking them. Especially if she in charge of something, like setting up her section of the Gather. Things must be done just right, and on time.
History:
Kierana was born and raised in a family that travels, performing and trading at Gathers. She was trained to dance, to haggle, to take care of herself and defend herself should the need arise. She has been taught many differing skills, how to mend clothes, cook, play the pipes, among other things. She excels at dancing, and knows every dance, plus the various routines she performs. She enjoys the thrills of acrobatics, of the flips and jumps, the tumbles and cartwheels. She adores the applause, the gasps at her feats, and staring gazes of men. It is all a game and a profession to her.
She was always close to her brother, whose knack is making things disappear as gone between with sleights of hand. Once when they were young and allowed a break at a Gather, they had slipped away and one thing led to another. They landed themselves at the Weaver's stall, and on a dare, dipped the end of their hair into a small pot of black dye. It stuck, too. Luckily for them, their parents were tolerant, for both truly grew to like the different shade, and when it had finally worn out, or been cut off, Kierana found a Weaver to make her a small pot, so that she might re-dye the ends of her long locks. It was her brother that bought her Bandit, her tunnelcat, for he knew that she enjoyed watching their antics and curious natures.
For the moment, she has come to Surion Weyr to observe and see about the possibilities of performing there for her family, along with speaking to the outlying holds about the Weyr. The woman is enjoying her time there, and is quite enchanted with the nearness of the great dragons, often finding herself imaging what it might be like to fly. The adrenaline high must be magnificent.

Appearance: Bandit is a brown and white striped tunnelcat, with nose, paws, and tail all dipped in black. He is a very sleek little creature, fast and lithe, often hard to spot. His eyes are a bright and sharp black, and Kierana has tied a pink ribbon about his neck.
Description:
This tunnelcat well deserves his name. He is fast and secretive, and is often wandering back to his owner with something, whether it be a rock, a mark, or a pretty little shiny he's found. More often than not, his finds are located in someone's living quarters. Kierana tries her best to get their objects back to them, but when they are not claimed, she allows Bandit to keep them in his hoard. He's a brilliant little creature, and a fast learner. He is often used by his owner during her performances, for he's been taught to do different tricks. He adores attention, and it's not uncommon to see him clawing up someone's leg to beg for a pet--and he's usually kicked off, too, poor thing.
